Abstract

The main objective of this study was to present a data article thatinvestigates the effect product features onfirm's competitiveadvantage. Few studies have examined how the features of aproduct could help in driving the competitive advantage of afirm.Descriptive research method was used. Statistical Package forSocial Sciences (SPSS 22) was engaged for analysis of one hundred andfifty (150) valid questionnaire which were completed by small business owners registered under small and medium scale enter-prises development of Nigeria (SMEDAN). Stratified and simple random sampling techniques were employed; reliability and validity procedures were also confirmed. Thefield data set is made publicly available to enable critical or extended analysis.
